Bella is a German Shepherd Dog April 29, 2012. She had been abandoned and was taken in by a lovely woman named Catherine the previous January.

Catherine said she this beautiful German Shepherd just sitting beside a country road 4 miles from her house the dog followed her home.

Catherine said she didn't look like she had been on her own for too long because it looked like her collar had been recently removed. Not knowing the dog's name, she called her "Girlfriend." Catherine took her to the vet to make sure she was up-to-date on her shots. They said her heartworm test returned a "light" positive and they prescribed 6 months of Heartgard Plus and said she should be retested after. The vet she is about 4-5 years old and in good health.
